We are seeking an experienced Senior Policy Analyst to work closely with a talented and committed team in a key government agency. Specifically, we are looking for a policy professional with relevant experience engaging with senior stakeholders to prepare briefings, key documents, and responses for Ministers and other senior government officials.

This role requires a natural ability to take complex information and make it relevant, clear and concise so that a broad range of audiences can easily understand it.  Also important for this role is the ability to quickly establish and build strong and trusted relationships within the team and with key external stakeholders. 

To be successful in this role, we are seeking a policy professional who has a natural analytical way of working, seeking to ask questions to understand essential information and a desire to contribute to the sector in a valuable, responsible and positive way.
  
As an experienced Senior Policy Analyst, you will be required to bring the following experience:

• Working on legislative projects of significance
• Providing advice for Ministers or senior officials
• Demonstrable understanding of the machinery of government and public policy
• Working within sectors and environments that are unfamiliar.
