Our private sector client is seeking an experienced Communications, PR, and Engagement Manager for a 12-month fixed term to elevate their brand, to further strengthen stakeholder relationships, and deliver measurable impacts.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this high-profile position demands leadership, creative innovation, and the ability to drive multi-channel initiatives across traditional and digital platforms.

To be successful in this role, you must have:
- More than five years working in senior-level communications, media, or PR roles
- Designed and executed cutting-edge communication strategies
- Driven multi-channel initiatives across a variety of channels and platforms
- A strong ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging messages for diverse audiences.
Ideally, you will have:
- A tertiary level qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
- Familiarity with New Zealand’s media landscape and stakeholder environment
- Industry or advocacy association experience.
Lastly, and importantly, you must:
- Have exceptional stakeholder and relationship management skills
- Naturally thrive in fast-paced environments
- Have a genuine desire to contribute valuably within your team and your diverse range of stakeholders and the sector.
