We are looking for a contract Procurement Specialist to work closely with an exceptional team to procure critical services for a government agency client. Engaging with a broad group of subject matter experts and internal and external stakeholders, you will need to demonstrate a high level of procurement proficiency to create procurement plans, lead evaluations, and facilitate contract negotiations and award processes. All whilst naturally driving procurement excellence and continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following experience:
- Over five years of procurement experience in the public sector
- Strong understanding of best practice public sector procurement
- Track record of contributing to high-value and complex procurement projects
In addition, you must bring the following skills and capabilities:
- Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to influence, guide and engage with key stakeholders
- A positive attitude, enthusiasm and passion for procurement and shaping how it can benefit and support organisational outcomes
- Clear, concise, and articulate verbal and written communication skills
- Well-organised, responsive, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
