We are working with several government agency clients who are seeking support over the next few months to assist with information requests and responses within a Ministerial service environment.

We are seeking experienced professionals who have supported agencies to provide high-quality delivery of Ministerial services and assisted with the preparation of reports and briefings for Ministers, including supporting senior leaders in relation to these documents.

We are therefore interested in speaking to professionals with experience analysing and providing advice on requests under the Official Information and Privacy Acts, as well as providing written advice to Ministers, identifying risks and preparing responses to requests.

To be successful in this role it is important to have a strong ability to build rapport and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.  The successful candidate will bring a positive approach to engagement and care about their work and those it will impact.

The following skills are critical to this role:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to produce information that is accurate, clear and concise for any given audience
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, and to manage competing demands and deliver high-quality work on time
• A strong eye for detail, a logical approach to problem-solving and an inquiring mind.
