We are seeking a Principal Policy Analyst to work closely with a talented and committed team in a key government agency. To add immediate value to this team, you will bring experience and understanding of funding and price setting work within the public sector.
  
This role requires a natural ability to take complex information and make it relevant, clear and concise so that it can be easily understood by a broad range of audiences.  Also important for this role is the ability to quickly establish and build strong and trusted relationships within the team and with key external stakeholders. 
  
To be successful in this role, we are seeking a critical thinker with exceptional writing skills, who have a natural analytical way of working, seeking to ask questions to understand essential information and a desire to contribute to the sector in a valuable, responsible and positive way.
  
As an experienced policy professional, you must bring the following experience:

• Strong understanding of legislative processes and regulatory policy
• Develop cost effective policy options to support the organisation
• Demonstrable understanding of the machinery of government and public policy – including developing new legislation
